Research for innovation in service design
For several years, I've been privileged to conduct research as part of the team of STBY, pioneers in research for innovation in service design. The projects cover a range of sectors and clients, from global internet companies to not-for-profits to city and state governments.

Project Information
Link: Discovering new opportunities for financial services - STBY was asked by a Dutch financial institution to carry out design research to support the creation of new service concepts in relation to housing.
Link: Making bicycle parking faster and easier - STBY helped the city of Amsterdam and Dutch Rail to make the use of indoor bicycle parking facilities more efficient and convenient through the use of new technology.
Link: Co-creating a traffic policy - STBY was asked to support conversations between policymakers of the city of Amsterdam and residents of a specific neighborhood about the renewal of their local traffic policy.
Link: Using service design to create an innovative working culture - STBY was asked to carry out service design research to support an initiative aimed at creating a more future-oriented, open and innovative working culture at the The National Institute for Sound and Vision.
Link: New opportunities for a chemistry database application - In collaboration with Elsevier’s service design team, STBY conducted design research to identify new opportunities for a database application used by scientists worldwide to access chemistry information.

Link: Innovation Accelerator for teachers - We developed this toolkit for and with Kennisnet, who are a public sector knowledge center offering schools practical support with innovation projects around the application of ICT.
